Polio Plus Day in Overland Park

The Mayor of Overland Park has signed a proclomation that October 24th is Polio Plus Day in Overland Park. The Governor of Kansas, as well as other cities, have signed similar proclomations. October 24 is also World Polio Day. On World Polio Day, thousands of Rotary clubs around the world will hold events and fundraisers to recognize our progress in the global fight to end polio. Our group will be bringing in speakers to share about their experience with Polio and Rotary's fight against it.
