Anti-Human Trafficking

For over 40 years, I worked as an Educational Psychologist. My specialty was Psychometrics and I  concentrated my career on occupational testing, especially licensing and certification. The first part of my career I worked for the Illinois Dept. of Personnel preparing civil service tests. Then I spent 6 years in the Philadelphia area while I worked for the federal government overseeing federal grants to state governments, and at the Educational Testing Service developing licensing exams for several clients. In 1985 I accepted a job with one of my clients in Lenexa which expanded from preparing one major healthcare groups examinations to developing exams for 80 different occupations.  I retired at the end of 2015 and I wanted to find opportunities for service  projects.

I joined the Rotary Club of Lenexa in 2016. I have held the following positions  - Vice-President, President Elect and President, and Foundation Chair. I am now serving as the District 5710 Chair for the Anti Human Trafficking Committee.

My favorite Rotary projects include working on the food assembly project we used to do at SMNW,  the Lenexa ShrimpFest, and the Hope Builder ramp projects. I am currently concentrating go Anti-Human Trafficking projects and District grants that help HT victims.

In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, making sawdust, and fishing in Canada.
