Come join us on Saturday, April 21, 2018 for this hands-on project. This year's RI president has set a goal of every Rotarian planting one tree to help the environment.  Overland Park South Rotary is partnering with the Johnson Parks and Recreation department to plant 20 hardwood trees on the Shawnee Mission Park Disc Golf course.  These trees are replacing Ash trees that were lost the ash borers in the last few years. The trees will be indigenous to the area and will be cared for by the Parks and Rec personnel after planted.

Dress appropriately to dig and shovel dirt.  Bring Gloves, shovel  and wear closed-toed shoes.

Meet at shelter #1 which is the first shelter on the right and parking is across the street from the shelter #1

LUNCH PROVIDED at no charge after tree planting and there will be outdoor games and activities for all ages.

Rotarians, their families and guests are invited to come whether they are physically able to help with planting or not.
