Hope Heals

Kim Stanley joins our weekly meeting to share the story of her daughter's cancer diagnosis and how having Hope has lead her to a new career in philanthropy titled "Hope Heals".

Kim Stanley is Vice President and Director of Development for Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer.  Kim is a performance-driven sales executive with over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in pharmaceutical, cancer diagnostic instruments, and healthcare software.  She has a strong business acumen and comprehensive sales experience developed across a myriad of industries working for companies like Cintas, Organon Pharmaceuticals, Roche, and Covenant Consulting.

Kim graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Studies where she was also a Division I volleyball player.  Kim’s family is filled with Jayhawk love and they bleed crimson and blue!  Rock Chalk!

As mother to two daughters, Taylor and Callyn, Kim earned an honorary “momcology” degree as her youngest daughter, Callyn, has been fighting and surviving a rare form eye cancer called Retinoblastoma since 2014. She had been a longtime volunteer advocate with Braden’s Hope; serving as Executive Board Member, Advisory Board member, and on the Ambassador and Outreach Committees before joining the organization full-time in 2019.  Kim is founder, alongside her husband Mike, of Callyn’s Course for Hope, an event branch of Braden’s Hope which includes a wildly successful annual golf tournament, and variety of other events throughout the year all benefitting Braden’s Hope.
